What
is
Arthroscopy?
Arthroscopy is a
form of minimally invasive surgery for joints. Arthroscopic procedures
are technically
demanding operations performed through tiny incisions utilizing an
arthroscope
(a form of telescope for joints) and other special equipment. Patients
who
undergo arthroscopic procedures have smaller scars, experience less pain
and
return to their previous level of activity much faster than patients who
undergo open surgical procedures.
